Josh Watson is an Instructor of Communications at Oklahoma Christian University, and has been apart of the OC family since 2008. Watson's academic and research interests are public relations, media content analysis, reputation management, PR campaigns and political campaigns. He shows expertise in public speaking, business and non-profit public relations practices and measurement and public information and political campaigns.
Watson's Master's thesis over the content analysis of Nextel's print newspaper coverage one year before and after becoming the primary sponsor of NASCAR has been published. Josh Watson is a sponsor of the PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America), and also enjoys volunteering at Red Cross and PRSA. During his spare time, Josh Watson enjoys political campaigns, kayaking, Americana music, storytelling, hiking, jeeping and camping. Josh Watson stated his reason for working at OC is, "My wife and I wanted a different approach to life. We also wanted to shape the future of the Church by preparing Christians for the real world."
