Two-time USA Softball Olympic Gold-medalist Michele Smith led Team USA to back-to-back gold medals in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. She also was a member of the 1998 U.S. team that captured a gold medal in the Canada Cup and the Pan American Games. In addition, she was an integral member of the U.S. team that won the 2002 International Softball Federation World Championship.
