Curriculum

The Four Star program is looking for top high school leaders from around the world. Attendees should have the potential to build relationships and motivate peers to action. They should be quick on their feet, eager to engage in active dialogue, willing to develop independent ideas and able to communicate effectively. Students will be asked to:
  • Engage in conversation with national and international leaders
  • Work in collaboration with fellow students
  • Research and comprehend ethical and leadership issues
  • Develop creative solutions to those issues
  • Make a persuasive speech
  • Participate in a written competition
  • Participate in an Ethics Bowl. The Four Star Leadership Ethics Bowl is a formatted as an in-depth discussion and thought exchange on pre-determined topics and scenarios that effect our world and leaders of today. The teams’ performances are evaluated on the exchange of valid ideas and points relevant to the topics. Participants are judged on their ability to offer constructive criticism, cooperation and communication while analyzing problems and creating solutions.

The Four Star Leadership curriculum is built around the four core principles of the program: Character, Common Vision, Communication and Caring.
