DR. NATHAN MELLOR

Dr. Nathan Mellor is the president of Character First located in Edmond, Oklahoma. Founded in 1992, Character First is an organization dedicated to helping people cultivate and maintain a culture of character at work and school. Character First is currently used in over thirty countries and has been translated into 12 languages. Dr. Mellor began working as the president of Character First in 2010.

Mellor holds the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and the Master of Science in Education (MSE) degrees from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. He earned the Master of Dispute Resolution (MDR) degree from the Pepperdine University School of Law - Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, and the Doctor of Education (EDD) in Organizational Leadership degree from Pepperdine University located in Malibu, California. He has completed continuing education courses through the Harvard School of Law Program on Negotiation and was named a Summer Fellow at Vanderbilt University's Peabody Professional Institute for Higher Education Management in 2008. He currently teaches courses in leadership and ethics in Oklahoma Christian University's Master of Business Administration located in Oklahoma City.

Nathan served as an administrator and educator at institutions such as Harding University, Pepperdine University, and Oklahoma Christian University. Dr. Mellor has provided consulting and training services for companies and organizations such as the California State University System, the U.S. Department of Energy, the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Nationwide Insurance, Lexis-Nexus, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and many others. Programs led by Dr. Mellor have been showcased on CNN Inside Africa, FOX News and FOX Radio.

Nathan and his wife Christie were married in 1997 and have two daughters, Annalise and Arden.
