Master Sergeant Jeffrey R. Cavallaro

Master Sergeant Jeffrey R. Cavallaro is a Flight Chief, 97th Security Forces Squadron, 97th Air Mobility Wing, Altus AFB, Oklahoma.  He serves as one of six senior leaders and advisor to the 97th Security Forces Squadron Commander, in the professional development, operational/tactical leadership, effective utilization and training of 36 assigned military and civilian officers.  He monitors SF operations capabilities, manages law enforcement and installation security during day shift, and oversees the readiness of his assigned personnel.  MSgt Cavallaro advocates for the deliberate development of all Defenders into better followers, supervisors and leaders.
 
MSgt Cavallaro has been the recipient of an Air Force Achievement Medal, an Army Achievement Medal, an Air Force Commendation Medal with five oak leaf clusters, a Meritorious Unit Award and an Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with four oak leaf clusters.

Master Sergeant Cavallaro enlisted in the Air Force April 15, 2003, and has served in and deployed to numerous locations supporting diverse stateside and overseas contingency operations.  His background includes duties as the Installation Antiterrorism Manager at Hill AFB, Utah, Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, Access Control Quality Assurance at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Air Base Defense NCO at Osan AB, Korea, and multiple other Security Forces functions.  Prior to assuming his current position, MSgt Cavallaro was the assistant Flight Chief at the 86th Security Force Squadron, Ramstein, Germany.
