Students From Around the World Recipients of Scholarships From Four Star Leadership With General Tommy Franks
For Immediate Release: August 3, 2023 Four Star Leadership with General Tommy Franks is proud to announce that 10 students from around the world have been awarded a cumulative $32,500 in scholarships. The students were awarded scholarships for writing, speech and ethics competitions during the program.
Jaley Hunt of Edmond, Oklahoma, won first place in Journal Writing and was awarded a $5,000 scholarship.
Sailor Eastman of Haymarket, Virginia, won second place in Journal Writing and second place Four Star Leader and was awarded a $5,000 scholarship.
Elijah Chandler of Knoxville, Tennessee, won first place in the Persuasive Speech Competition and was awarded a $5,000 scholarship.
Sanika Saraf of Chesterfield, Missouri, won second place in the Persuasive Speech Competition and was awarded a $2,500 scholarship.
Payton Stokes of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, won first place Four Star Leader and was awarded a $5,000 scholarship.
Aaron Bishop of Warrenton, Virginia; Siena D’Egidio of Manalapan, New Jersey; Daehyun Kang of Beverly Hills, California; Ariana Perez of Placentia, California; and Jordan Tran of Las Vegas, Nevada, participated on the winning Ethics Competition team and were each awarded a $2,000 scholarship.

Tommy Franks (Ret.). “We are confident that these awards are just the first step in a long journey of future triumphs for these leaders of tomorrow.”
Four Star Leadership with General Tommy Franks is a world-class leadership program developed as a partnership between the General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum and Oklahoma Christian University. During the week-long program, top high school students from around the world learn leadership techniques and skills from frontrunners and influential leaders in various fields. The program curriculum is designed around the four core principles that led Gen. Tommy Franks (Ret.) through his 38-year military career: character, common vision, communication and caring. The opportunity is valued at more than $4,000 per student and is offered at no cost to selected students, including expenses, travel and programming.
